Inventing and Reinventing

These are representative of what I do to make the mortgage payments, with the caveat being that they’re perhaps somewhat out of context; thus ever the nature of portfolios, I suppose. The full, moving pieces would normally be accompanied by support materials such as human beings - much of what I have worked on has been in the Financial Services world, and the presentations here are adjuncts to a more formal setting.

Here are some of the long-form shows that I’ve built and produced. The focus is on financial services; the methodologies are applicable to any market. Some feel that the long shows are more difficult; I would say that maintaining focus is the most difficult aspect involved, compared to a shorter piece where the beats are closer togther. It’s hard to develop a show that is informative and engaging when the subject scarcely raises the pulse (for the vast majority of viewers).

I’ve found that the tools of the narrative come into play more than anything; glitz and “wow” don’t do much if they’re not connected to the story. Communicate with the simplest elements and the viewer never gets distracted - and the presentation is more effective. What follows are but a narrow sample of my work, slices of information distributed across time.
